This workshop will help participants explore the intersectional nuances that disadvantaged populations experience around mental health and mental health care.

The participants will also explore their attitudes about mental health to break down stigma within themselves and, hopefully, create a ripple effect within their communities.

Outcomes: Increased engagement and morale, stronger relationships between colleagues, and a transformative shift in perspective on mental health (leading to an empathetic and communicative organization).

This workshop will empower participants to reclaim the intersectional elements of their personal stories and learn how to transform them into a powerful testimony to unlock or rediscover their unique purpose.

This workshop will educate the participants about the intersectionality of race and sexuality. They will understand the nuanced layers of discrimination that Black and Queer people face and will explore the resilience and resistance of the Black Queer community.

This workshop will challenge the participants to step outside their identities and experiences.; thus fostering a stronger sense of community and solidarity.

Outcomes: Increased engagement and awareness, increased morale, stronger relationships between colleagues, improved communication and production.

“Black Poetry: An Art That Shaped American Culture”

This workshop will educate the participants about the nuanced ways in which Black poetry has shaped Black culture and American history. Participants will explore themes of identity, race, and social justice prevalent in Black poetry.

This workshop will inspire and empower the participants to continue exploring and celebrating the art of Black poetry with its complexity and beauty.

Outcomes: Increased engagement and morale, increased cultural competency, improved communication, and stronger relationships between colleagues.
